Bronze For Whelan At Track Championships: Brendan Whelan finished on the Podium in the Veterans National Track Championships for the third year in succession, by winning a Bronze Medal in the Five Event Omnium on Saturday (Sept 10th). 
Whelan, already an Elite National Champion this year in the Team Sprint, finished the event in Joint 2nd position with Sean Curtis of Sundrive Track Team, the Silver was awarded to Sean on Countback, and the Gold went to Orwell Wheelers European Track Champion Stephen Mcnally. |

Roisin Wins Womens League / Whelan Wins Lucan League: The Final Stage of the InterClub League was held on Thursday night (Aug 25th) in Batterstown. Adamstown Cyclist Roisin Kennedy Won the Womens League Overall, also finishing 5th in the InterClub Section and 2nd in the Lucan League. The LCRC League Trophy went to Brendan Whelan for the 7th time, with Kennedy 2nd, and last years winner Brian Reynolds taking the Bronze Medal.

Adamstown Rider Is Irish Champion: Adamstown Cyclist Brendan Whelan was part of the Lucan Cycling Road Club team that showed their dominance of the Elite Track Team Sprint event winning a Gold and a Bronze medal at the Team Sprint National Championships at Sundrive Velodrome on Saturday (Aug 13th).

Silver For Adamstown Girls In Pursuit Championships: Adamstown cyclists Bronagh Rogers and Roisin Kennedy Won A Silver Medal in the National Team Pursuit Track Championships at Sundrive Velodrome on Sunday (July 31st). 
Bronagh and Roisin joined Sandra Fitzgerald representing LCRC in the event, posting the 2nd fastest time on the day , and the 2nd fastest time ever to earn their spot on the podium. |

Five Medals For Whelan At Track Champs: LCRC Riders were very successful in the Irish Veteran Cycling Association Track Championships at Sundrive Velodrome at the Weekend (July 9th/10th). Brendan Whelan Won Three Gold, a Silver and a Bronze medal from five events,and set a New National Record In the 500M TT, and Liam Collins, took a Sprint Bronze. Roisin 3rd In Wicklow League: Adamstown Cyclist Roisin Kennedy came home with 3rd prize Overall in the Womens Wicklow League on Tuesday night (June 28th). Kennedy Won the opening Time trial, and was the fastest rider on every stage, however she was unable to overcome the handicap system, leaving her in 3rd spot.  |
