Stagg Lucans Ronan Baxter finally got the hang of Track Racing, taking three wins and a 2nd place from four events on Wednesday night (June 2nd). Lucan CRC were again well represented in all events and all categories. 

Ronan Baxter Won the C Group 10 Lap Race, He also Won the 1km Dash, and the 6 lap Keirin and finished 2nd in the Win and Out race. Baxter proved to be too strong on the night for the C League - and the LCRC rider will soon be promoted to the B League where he will join Ian O'Hara and Kevin Whelan.

Roisin Kennedy also contested the C League  The Lucan girl was following up her Win in the Womens League the previous night, Roisin was very active in her four races, but was unable to get clear of the bunch before the sprint finishes.

Ian O'Hara was unable to repeat his performances in the B League on round 4 - hampered by a puncture and mechanical problems. Ian finished 3rd in the Keirin

The youth riders contested the D Events. Adam Stenson won the D Group 5 Lap Youth Race

Stenson is well positioned in the  D League  building his form towards the Interprovincials and National championships.  

The A riders were not having a good night. Brendan Whelan finished 3rd in the A Race Sprint ladder and Won the 14 Lap progressive Scratch race after Darragh Zaidan and Enda Connolly put in a big effort to close the gap to the leaders to rescue a result for Stagg Cycles ,

Zaidan, Connolly and Grogan have been performing well in the A races , and all three will target a good performance in the Duane Delaney Memorial on the 12th June.
