Roisin Kennedy Crashes In Limerick: PDF Print E-mail
Crash Ends Roisins Season: Adamstown Cyclist Roisin Kennedy suffered a bad fall on Monday when competing in the Limerick Pursuits 3 Day (June 7th). Roisin suffered extensive cuts and bruises, and a season ending partially collapsed Lung Roisin will be off the bike for a minimum of one month. Kennedy (Womens winner in 2009) was descending in poor conditions when she hit a water filled pothole at speed. The hole broke her front wheel, sending her off the road.

Roisin was on great form recently, and was due to compete again on the Tuesday night in the Womens Wicklow League - where she held the leaders yellow jersey.

Roisin would like to thank all the LCRC members, and Cycling friends that wished her a speedy recovery
