Roisin Kennedy Completes Code Of Ethics course: Cycling Ireland Road Coach Roisin Kennedy completed a Basic Awareness Workshop at the Red Cow Hotel on Monday (17/5/10). This course was hosted by Cycling Ireland for its members only. It is of the up most importance that any persons looking after Youth or Vulnerable adults should attend one of these courses. Going forward for 2011 it will be mandatory that every club with a Youth section should have a designated Child Protection Officer - this is a directive from the Irish Sports Council. The Code of Ethics is for the benefit and protection of anyone involved in Children’s sport, from parents or guardians to sports leaders or coaches. Kennedy is one of three official Cycling Ireland Coaches active in Lucan Cycling Road Club. ============ ====== |
