Roisin 3rd In Dundalk: Roisin kennedy got her 2011 National League campaign off to a great start in Dundalk on Sunday (March 27th) just losing out on a win, after leading out a mass bunch sprint to take 3rd prize, just ahead of her team mate Sandra Fitzgerald in 5th. The Adamstown Cyclist led out the uphill sprint finish from 300M, but was unable to hold her advantage to the line
Over 35 Women took to the start line for one of the biggest Womens fields in a National league event in recent years. Lucan had three strong riders in the event - Kennedy and fitzgerald finishing in the top five, and Aoife Lynch had a brave attempt at victory pulled back in the closing Km, Women's National League Race 1
