Whelan 5th In Corkagh Park: Adamstown Cyclist Brendan Whelan (Cycling Pursuits) came home with 5th Prize from the SDCC Grand Prix A1/A2 Race in Corkagh Park on Saturday (May 12th). Whelan and Gary Gorman (Stamullen) had spent a lot of the race in chase of the leading Breakaway (Including Winner Robin Kelly Waterford), and both riders sprinted home for the remaining prizes after being caught by the chasing group on the final lap.
