Three In A Row / Kennedy Wins Again: Adamstown Rider Roisin Kennedy (ESB CC) took her third win in a row in the Ladies Race Series at Corkagh Park on Tuesday night (June 26). 

 

Kennedy took 2nd prize on the opening night, but has proved unbeatable in the following three events. Adamstowns Bronagh Adams (Lucan CC) was also in action on the night, narrowly missing out on the winning move in the closing laps. 

The Irish Road Club hosted event was well supported with a good turn out of Women from all Categories, 

Kennedy, and the Scratch group started a lap down on some riders, but were soon on terms with the leaders.

Four Riders attacked and went clear, (Kennedy, Orla Hendron, Anne Dalton, Fiona Guihan) and stayed away to the finish.

Bronagh Adams was close behind in a chase group of eight, but they couldnt bridge the gap to the leaders.

Kennedy attacked the leaders on every lap, but couldnt open up an advantage on her breakaway companions.

Roisin led out the Sprint to the line, and was pushed hard by Orla Hendron (Orwell), Hendron faded - and a fast finishing Guihan (Navan RC) took 2nd prize behind Roisin on the line.
